As we wind down the year, it’s time to give your hardworking cleaning robots a well-deserved break too! Follow these simple steps to ensure your PUDU cleaning robots—like the CC1, SH1, and MT1—are ready to jump back into action when the new year rolls around.
1. Give Your Robots a Thorough Clean
Your PUDU robots have been powering through dirt and grime all year. Show them some TLC! Clean out filters to avoid dirt build-up that could damage the system or lead to costly repairs. Give all components a good inspection and clean to keep them running like new.
2. Charge and Maintain the Batteries
For battery-operated models like the PUDU CC1 and SH1, ensure the batteries are fully charged before storage. Leaving them flat over the holidays can make it tricky for chargers to detect voltage later. Once charged, unplug the robot—no need to leave it connected for extended periods.
3. Empty and Flush Water Tanks
If your PUDU cleaning robot, like the SH1, uses water tanks, be sure to empty them completely and rinse them with clean water. This prevents bacteria build-up and unpleasant smells. Leave the recovery tank lid open for proper ventilation.
