Is Your Organization Conscious?

A conscious organization is one where you elevate the consciousness of your leadership and your organization to uplift the hearts and minds of your people and your clients. When your leadership is more conscious you show greater emotional intelligence, empathy, emotional resiliency, and self-awareness in the way you lead your team and serve your clients. Not only will this mindset result in better organizational performance, you will discover yourself doing good works for society and the world.

This leads to several interesting questions: How conscious is your organization? Why should you improve? How can you improve? These questions, and more, are being addressed by the Conscious Organization Conference October 28th through 30th. During this live online event, you will learn how the speakers lead from a higher level of consciousness and achieve breakthroughs in performance while having a positive impact in their organizations, in their teams, in their families, in society, and in the environment.

The challenge with this premise, of course, is summarized in the following cartoon:

So, in my traditional role of provocateur, my talk is entitled Getting Past "Are You Kidding Me?" We are all in this together, yet many people don’t see it that way. We exist in a world where a large percentage of people are unwilling to change simple behaviors to help fight a pandemic, and people unwilling to consider the science of climate change even as their homes burn around them or are swept away in a windstorm. At work we face increased stress from economic uncertainties and changing marketplaces, where competition is only getting tighter. And many of us live in countries with dysfunctional governments whose politicians seem to care little for the people they are supposedly responsible for. Transcending alone is an unpalatable proposition, so we must find ways to convince others to join us on our journey. For many their first step will be the hardest and we need to be prepared to help. I hope you choose to register for this 3-day event so that we can explore this challenge together.
