Your Purpose Future

“When I returned to Jerusalem and was praying at the temple, I fell into a trance and saw the Lord speaking to me. ‘Quick!’ he said. ‘Leave Jerusalem immediately, because the people here will not accept your testimony about me.’" - Acts 22:17-18.

God understands your purpose and has foreknowledge of how people will respond to it. In Acts 22, He directed Paul to leave his beloved people to go to the Gentiles, because the Lord knew the Jews would not accept Paul's testimony. God not only assigns your purpose but becomes your purpose coach, directing your steps and development along the way. He also determines where you will be most effective.

Are you cooperating with God's plan for your purpose, which may include school, being coached and trained, and travel? Are you trying to choose where you will be effective, or surrendering to the reality of where you get the greatest results? Are you willing to go and do what is necessary to fulfill your purpose?

Lord, You know best because You see the future and can direct my steps today to make sure I am ready to meet the challenges of tomorrow. I accept Your guidance and wisdom, and will no longer fight what I must do to be successful in my purpose. Today I start or continue to develop myself into Your purpose champion.

I wish to cooperate but I am not yet sure of the purpose.
