YOUR RESULTS ARE TIED TO YOUR PERCEPTIONS

YOUR RESULTS ARE TIED TO YOUR PERCEPTIONS

The perspective you have on something determines how you deal with it and, ultimately, the RESULTS you will get from it. For example, if you see POWER, INFLUENCE, or EXPOSURE as something bad or negative, you will surely have issues related to self-confidence. If you see RELATIONSHIPS, MARRIAGE, or FAMILY as trouble, hard, or marked by negative emotions, you will struggle to succeed in this area. If you don't value yourself or don't see yourself as deserving, you will have a life marked by poor results and meaningless.

Ressignifying some key areas of life, especially those you struggle to get good results, is fundamental to overcoming mental blocks and is directly linked to growth and prosperity. Imagine that there is a dictionary in your brain that classifies and gives meaning to every area and situation you experience. When your brain has a negative experience with something, it will automatically interpret and classify it as negative, thus blocking your development and results in that area. For example, people who have had a bad experience with their parents' marriage tend to create a blockage in their relationships, as our brains were designed for SURVIVAL, not for DEVELOPMENT. It's no surprise that PROGRESS only happens outside our comfort zone.

Therefore, even if you already have a good definition for some areas of your life, the difference between good and great, normal and extraordinary is precisely in the way you see things. If you want to have better results in relationships, work or leadership, observe how someone who is having great results in this area sees it. Does such a person sees, deal with, and treat this the same way you do? Try using one of the Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) techniques and start modelling that person. Change the way you see things in all areas that you are not yet mastering, living in abundance, or having great results and you shall see what real progress looks like.
