Prayer: Lord, in an ever-changing world it is wonderful to know that You are the constant Who is always with me. Thank You that You never give up on me but You are constantly at work in my life to bring about Your original plan and purpose for my life. Amen.

5mothe prayer in John 17 makes interesting (and very widely connected) reading. it reverses the perspective — we (vv 20-23) and others can always be with the father. the only alternative to the oneness [NKJV, NIV, KJV] mentioned there is laid out very simply in Psalm 104 (and several other places).
