Your Year in Review

Your Year in Review

As the year draws to a close, I've been reviewing my personal and professional strategic plan and vision. I reflect on the year to understand what has and hasn't worked and then identify what I'm going to do next year.

Most people I communicate with say, 'Oo it looks as though your life is brilliant up in the Lakes' and it is and I've shared plenty on that topic.

I also want to be real with you. I get bumps in the road just like everyone else. So here are the highs, lows and learnings, in the hope that it helps you too.

1. There have been some personal detours which has involved supporting family and friends.  I underestimated the physical and mental load relocating would have. I had to go back to basics. Put my own oxygen mask back on. It was tough. It felt selfish, but worth it. I feel fitter and healthier for it.

2. It's felt like I've been in the R & D lab this year, learning new, sometimes frustrating but ultimately exciting things, which will equip my business for the future.

3. I've been working on a 'course adjustment', which again is very exciting but has felt as though it was moving slowly... until I reflected. I've got a new brand, website and products which I will share at some stage.

Some things have come off. Some things haven't and I need to re-attempt them next year, with an alternative strategy. In these moments, I remind myself of all the amazing people that dusted themselves off having 'failed'.

Only by reflecting can we learn, grow and refine, so that we take things to the next level.  Anyway, as a loyal subscriber grab a coffee, take some me time and download your free Year in Review Tool here.

If I don't speak to you before, wishing you a very merry Christmas and a fabulous 2025! All the best,
