You're going to get it wrong. And that’s exactly why you’ll grow.

The world won’t stand still for you—it’s a moving target. To hit it, you need more than a perfect plan; you need a feedback loop.

Don’t aim for the flawless blueprint upfront. Why? Because at the start, you don’t have all the answers. Plans are born in ignorance but refined through action. What matters isn’t getting it perfect—it’s getting it started.

You need to move. Movement sparks learning, and learning sparks progress. This is the mindset we need to nurture in ourselves and in our children: the courage to start, the humility to adapt, and the resilience to keep going. Let’s call that education.

What really matters is the ability to figure things out as you go. To start before you’re ready. To experiment and iterate, knowing perfection is the enemy of progress.

Time spent in the game outshines the fantasy of perfect timing. You’ll fail. You’ll stumble. And that’s okay. You’re not going to hit it big in year one: not a million dollars as an online creator, not the top spot on YouTube, not a bestselling book. But that’s not the point.

The point is movement. The point is growth. The point is agency—the willingness to try, to fail, and to learn your way forward. So, take the first step. Not because it’s perfect, but because it’s necessary.
