You're invited - Happy Anniversary Party

I was so excited I could hardly stand it.

It was May 15. My hand quivered a bit as I clicked "Start Zoom Meeting" to start our very first Video Rock Starz Opening Ceremonies!

I remember wondering if anyone would actually show up.

I also remember feeling so honored that a whole bunch of people had enough faith in me to put down a few bucks to join this brand new community that I had dreamed about creating for years -

⏩ a community of friends helping friends create better videos.

Thanks, Marcey Walsh, for the great tagline that was so appropriate.

I had imagined a program where people got help with video creation skills, sort of like a Toastmasters for video creators.

I also imagined a program like a professional speakers' association (NSA, CAPS, or PSA) where experts could also get training on how to monetize their video creations through video-based courses and membership programs.

I saw it as a merging of the best of both worlds - for virtual presenters and video creators - to create, amplify, and monetize videos.

Now, I have a thriving, supportive, successful community of video creators who are learning from world-class experts and each other.

❤️ It gives me such joy to see people making progress in their ability to communicate their inspiring and helpful messages across the globe.

Co-founders Terry Brock and Laurie Brown gave me the encouragement and confidence to get the party started.

We did and I've never looked back.

It has been a joy getting to see people blossom with confidence in their video skills in our hot seat and trouble-shooting segments.

It has been very gratifying to see folks implement the Masterclasses and Behind-the-Scenes trainings they have received to add significant income streams to their businesses, especially in this pandemic. 💲

🔥 I get such joy seeing our Rock Starz spread their heartfelt messages ❤️ of inspiration and education throughout the world, knowing that they are doing more of that (and doing it better) as a result of Video Rock Starz.

They are helping more people, which, in turn, helps more people.

There is a tsunami of awesomeness due to the ripple effect of all this goodness going out into the world.
