Summary: Ich liebe meinen Job! Es ist ein großes Geschenk für tausende von Fans Woche für Woche in die Stadien dieser Welt einlaufen zu dürfen. Die Anfeuerungsrufe zu hören, das Adrenalin zu spüren und den Ball ins Tor zu schießen. Ich durfte schon viele Erfolge mit meinen Teams feiern und wir haben noch einiges vor. Als Mannschaftssportler erlebt man in der Gruppe einzigartige Momente. Es heißt treffend, „geteiltes Glück ist das schönste Glück!“ In der Kreisliga, genauso wie in der Champions League. Nur, wer als Team agiert, kann am Ende Trophäen in die Luft stemmen. Im Fußball wie in der Wirtschaft. Genauso gilt es Widerstände zu überwinden, wenn es mal nicht nach Plan läuft. Auf dem Weg an die Spitze ist viel Schweiß und sogar die ein oder andere Träne geflossen. Um den Schattenseiten des Geschäfts wie zum Beispiel dem permanenten Leistungsdruck, der Fremdbestimmung, dem ständigen Reisen zu trotzen, benötigt es neben der sportlichen Qualität vor allem auch die richtige Einstellung und Mentalität. Das so genannte „Quäntchen Glück“ gehört natürlich auch dazu. Ich bin sehr dankbar, dass ich in den letzten 30 Jahren diesen Weg gehen durfte und freue mich auf die Herausforderungen der nächsten 30 Jahre. Dank an alle, die mich auf diesen Wegen unterstützen. Als Fan, Trainer-Team, Mitspieler, Freund, Familienmitglied, Partner oder Angestellter meines Vereins, dem FC Bayern. Ohne euch wäre mein Traumberuf nicht möglich.
