About us

The mission of the ACCE Foundation is to support the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) by providing chamber leaders with tools, research, and knowledge needed to be players in shaping the future of their communities. To that end, ACCE Foundation will work to strengthen ACCE’s position as the leading convener of, and professional development source for, business organizations across the country.

  • Chambers Complete Economic Mobility for Rural Workers Cohort Eleven chambers completed the Economic Mobility for Rural Workers Cohort by the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives Foundation.   • Elevate Rapid City Launches CareerLIFT CareerLIFT is a free online education platform. It offers courses, resume-building resources, interview preparation and job offer connections to uplift and empower individuals to achieve career success and improve their overall quality of life. Two years of development went into CareerLIFT, with financial support of the ACCE Foundation.   • Upward Mobility Data Dashboard The Urban Institute’s Upward Mobility Dashboard is a useful tool to help your chamber understand key conditions affecting upward mobility in your communities. It tracks data for 24 predictors strongly associated with upward economic mobility, according to the Upward Mobility Framework. The data is available for every U.S. county and more than 480 cities.   • Economic Mobility in Rural Communities The ACCE Foundation, with funding from Ascendium's Education Philanthropy, created the Economic Mobility for Rural Workers Cohort to help rural-serving chambers promote economic mobility. Helping rural, low-income adults gain the right skills for long-term success is a fundamental component of creating equitable economic growth. If we don’t support workers and employers in adapting to the new realities of work, we risk leaving the most vulnerable communities behind, which negatively impacts our local economy.
