AECOM is proud to provide project management services to Austin Independent School District's 2022 bond program, as Linder Elementary School receives a full modernization of its existing campus with a new building featuring flexible learning spaces designed to support a variety of learning styles for Linder students.    The project design began in summer 2023 and the modernized campus is anticipated to open to students in fall 2026. Beyond ensuring programs happen on time and on budget, we bring together multidisciplinary expertise to lead programs at scale, assuring our clients that we put our programs on the right path to deliver their intended outcomes, anticipate problems before they escalate and keep focus on priorities and benefits like sustainability, inclusivity and positive impact to our communities.     Thanks to our our team: Bianca Medina-Leal, Matthew Campbell and Drew Dodson. As the Project Management Consultant, we supported our valued client, Abu Dhabi Airports, to develop a state-of-the-art facility that stands as a beacon of innovation and excellence in the aviation industry, not only for its remarkable infrastructure, but also for its commitment to efficiency, safety and environmental stewardship. We are delighted to attend the 31st Annual Community College Facility Coalition (CCFC) Conference held November 6th – 8th in Rancho Mirage, CA. The CCFC is a California-based statewide association composed of community college districts and organizations designed to support facility needs found in construction projects including facility planners, architects, developers and construction managers.     In addition, the CCFC provides leadership in legislative advocacy and delivers critical information, education and training on facilities issues for community college districts and facilities based in California. With decades of experience in complex project delivery, George Robbins has worked across a wide range of sectors, from transportation to IT. Now a program manager based in our Chicago office, he’s using his expertise to expand transit access to new riders regionwide.  One of his favorite projects at AECOM has been the Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District’s West Lake Corridor — an eight-mile extension of the South Shore Line commuter rail. AECOM was excited to celebrate its latest milestone with the San Diego Unified School District at the topping-off ceremony for the 12,000 sq. ft., $21 million O’Farrell Charter School Student Union Building.   The project, which is on track for completion in September 2025, includes a high-tech theater, dressing rooms, rehearsal space, student lounge, audiovisual room, fitness space and multi-purpose lounge, supporting student growth with dedicated study areas, natural indoor/outdoor connections and a full-service snack bar.     With more than 121,000 students and over 200 traditional public and charter schools, SDUSD is the second-largest school district in California. AECOM has provided a range of program management and professional services since 2002 to support SDUSD’s capital improvement bond programs.     Special thanks to our project partners SILLMAN and Soltek Pacific as well as AECOM team member Dana Peterson, CCM and JE Moore team members J.E.
