Aquaculture solutions for maximum performance and efficiency

About us

In the 1970s, our founder, Dr. Pearse Lyons, immigrated to the United States with a dream: to sustain our planet and all things living on it. Today, a global team of more than 5,000 people shares this vision of sustaining and nourishing the world’s plants, animals, and people. We deliver on this vision by improving plant, feed, and food quality through nutrition and scientific innovation, particularly yeast-based technology. Through our innovative study of nutrigenomics, our nutritional technologies help animals maximize the nutrients in their feed for optimal well-being and performance. We work with producers across the globe to address the animal nutrition issues most important to them. We partner with producers to increase their efficiency, productivity, and profitability through analytical services. We bring traceability, quality and improved nutrition to the table. As a family company, we understand the consumer’s desire to ensure that their family’s meals are as safe and nutritious as possible. The aquaculture industry is changing rapidly, making it vital for the industry to meet the needs of the entire food production chain. Through a network of global strategic research alliances and partnerships with leading producers and governmental bodies, Alltech develops and applies innovative scientific insights directly at the industrial level. We work with producers across the globe to address the issues most important to them, including feed efficiency, antibiotic-free production, food enrichment, and the management of mycotoxins, gut health, proteins, enzymes, and minerals. Our technological breakthroughs directly impact fish and shrimp performance for farmers around the world. We provide advanced feeds and feedings solutions that help improve survival and product quality, which is essential for maintaining competitiveness.

  • Ronald Faber, Philip Lyons, Ph.D and Paulo Rigolin visited Chile to support the local team in fostering collaboration and strengthening the industry's commitment to a more efficient and sustainable future. They visited clients and research centers to align local efforts with global expertise.   We showed the clients what we have to offer; comprehensive support and strong commitment to sustainability, highlighted by our purpose: Working Together for a Planet of Plenty. We firmly believe that salmon farming holds immense potential to shape the future of our planet, and this event successfully expanded the conversation on sustainable animal production and innovation.  #Aquaculture #Sustainability #Salmonfarming #Alltech #AlltechChile
