Leading Responsibly is one of our core values at Apollo Global Management, Inc., with many of our employees supporting the greater community by serving on non-profit boards. During Veterans Month, we’re highlighting Catch A Lift Fund, an organization helping injured veterans regain their mental and physical health through the power of exercise and a peer support network. Eric Needleman, Partner and Head of Apollo Capital Solutions, recently joined the Catch A Lift board, inspired by the organization’s impactful work in supporting veterans and giving back to those who have selflessly defended our country. Through participating in a veteran’s workout, Eric saw firsthand the organization’s work in rebuilding a sense of community, offering a purpose and connecting people through their shared experiences. Eric encourages colleagues interested in non-profit board service to find a cause that resonates with them on a personal level as the experience is incredibly rewarding, both professionally and personally.

The Apollo Opportunity Foundation is proud to support Generation Hong Kong's mission to bridge the gap between education and employment for job-seekers entering the workforce in Hong Kong. Thank you to Virender Bedi, Apollo's Head of Digital and Client & Product Solutions Technology, for leading a session on AI and data engineering for Generation Hong Kong learners.
🌟 We were honored to have Virender Bedi, Head of Digital and Client & Product Solutions (CPS) Technology, to host an AI industry sharing session at the Apollo Opportunity Foundation hosted event. Virender shared invaluable and enlightening insights on AI with our Junior Data Engineering learners and Generation Hong Kong alumni, discussing the logic and considerations in applying AI to enhance productivity in a corporate lens. 🚀 Our learners, who are first-time job seekers, were keen to learn from Virender for advice to become a better data engineer. Virender highlighted that CURIOSITY🔎 is crucial, and it all starts with asking questions and continuously learning on upcoming tech trends. He also discussed the balance between AI and human decision-making, noting that while AI supports decision-making, it can't yet replace human creativity and holistic thinking. 🤝 If you have insights to share with our future generation, we invite you to explore partnership opportunities with us. Reach out to us at generationhk@generation.org. #GenerationHK #ApolloOpportunityFoundation #GrowHKTalent #TalentBeyondBoundaries #ArtificialIntelligence #CareerDevelopment
