Did you know that most workers only spend 6.5 hours per week on "real" work? The average executive spends 25+ hours per week in meetings. (Apparently, half can be eliminated with no business impact.) This is why we all need Brigid Schulte in our lives! Her new book "Over Work: Transforming the Daily Grind in the Quest for a Better Life" is essential reading. I am so incredibly lucky and grateful to be hosting three events with Brigid during the month of November in Boston and New York. 🙏 If you would like to join, shoot me a message. #overwork #worklife #integration #balance #hybridwork #betterwork #newamerica New America #betterlifelab #overwhelmed #workculture International Women's Forum of Massachusetts https://lnkd.in/ebnQcRgB

Nicole Jackson Leslie combined her love of law and working with families into her impressive career which now includes more than six years as a senior wealth planner at BBH. That’s just one of the many reasons she was named a Boston Business Journal 40 Under 40! Congratulations, Nicole! #40u40 #bbj https://lnkd.in/eRfPZS7r

While all private business owners say they have an estate plan, 97% report there are factors preventing them from communicating it to their family. “When starting the conversation about wealth and estate planning with the next generation, focus first on what you care most about – not the dollars and cents but your family’s values and what motivates you. It’s a much easier entry point, but also more engaging for everyone,” says BBH Principal Adrienne Penta. More from our annual private business owner survey --> https://lnkd.in/efftE26K
