When managing burnout, individuals strong in the Executing Domain often feel an instinctive pull to resume work as quickly as possible. Their drive for accomplishment pushes them to seek alternative outlets, such as running or engaging in other activities that deliver a sense of achievement, even if they’re not ready to dive back into work-related tasks. Many times, instinctual burnout coping strategies may not be the best solution. Instead of trying to get back to work as quickly as possible, individuals with high Executing strengths (Achiever, Arranger, Belief, Consistency, Deliberative, Discipline, Focus, Responsibility, Restorative) should stop and take time to think through and try to look for the positives in their situation.
