Key technological advancements, such as machine learning, are revolutionizing how we analyze, process, and model complex data. At the Korea International Semiconductor Conference & Exhibition on Manufacturing Technology (KISM) 2024, Paul Bernatis joined a distinguished group of plenary speakers and shared insights on this transformation in his talk “Keeping Pace with Advanced Semiconductor Development: Tools for Accelerated Learning and Improved Modeling.” Paul discussed how machine learning is accelerating formulation development and unlocking the ability to take advantage of complex multidimensional performance analysis. Machine learning has made significant advancements in enhancing data analysis and prediction. Nonetheless, Paul highlighted the challenge has not gone away to devise rapid benchtop tests that yield data well aligned with customer’s results on cutting-edge wafers. He emphasized that the continued development of new tools and methods holds great promise for keeping pace with the latest material introductions and accelerating future breakthroughs in semiconductor development. #Semiconductor #Innovation #Technology
