Onward and forward! Two weeks ago, we made a trip to Hanoi and met with Vietnam's Foreign Investment Agency (FIA). This marked our inaugural meeting as the Singapore Unit since the MOU signing between Enterprise Singapore and the FIA. The discussions were fruitful, setting the stage for what promises to be a dynamic partnership. During our visit, we also had the pleasure of meeting with our in-market partners including Petrolimex, GELEX GROUP and Pacific Corporation, and Singapore companies including CapitaLand, Keppel Ltd., and YCH Group. Surabaya - Indonesia's second largest city. We recently visited Surabaya, connecting with next generation business leaders and viewing JIIPE, the only integrated industrial, port and residential estate in Indonesia. Another highlight was the visit to Lamongan Shorebase, located along the northern coast of East Java. Run by a Singapore company, Eastlog Holdings, this 80-hectare complex handles logistics for about 30% of the nation’s crude oil and natural gas production. We were excited to learn about their expansion into project logistics with the new East Java Multipurpose Terminal (EJMT) Port, now home to East Indonesia’s two largest cranes and can now handle everything from vessel and rig decommissioning to renewable energy projects across East Indonesia and Western Australia.
