Getting good at something takes reps and actually doing what you say, or practicing what you preach. Every quarter at EOS Worldwide, all EOS implementers get together for something we call QCE (Quarterly Collaborative Exchange). During this meeting, we get together for fellowship, to review our vision, to review how we did over the past 90 days, and to set priorities for the next 90 days. We then spend the rest of the time working through issues (things we have to solve), or ‘IDS’ing. This all-day meeting, or session, is very similar to the work we do with our clients. What I love most about these meetings is the collaboration. At my roundtable, I sat with brand new implementers (welcome to the community Sue Frech and Julia Walsh!), an expert implementer (the infamous Jonathan B. Smith), the Visionary/CEO of EOS (shoutout Mark O'Donnell), and a few other awesome implementers (Jules L. and Lee Handley). I learned something from each one of them and I’m better for having spent time with this crew. We live in a ‘90 day world’ which is exactly what we help our clients do - prioritize the most important 3-7 things that gotta get done over the next 90 days. We call these Rocks. Do you know what your Rocks are for the next 90 days? If so, get after them! If not, let’s chat. Celebrating my 100th EOS session today on Day 1 of Annual Planning with the rowdy, productive, and way too much fun group from Civil Werx LLC. Someone should teach me the right way to hold the 1. Earlier this month, I reached a significant milestone...my 500th EOS session. Time really does fly by fast. I guess it's not a coincidence that Thanksgiving is right around the corner and so I'd like to take a moment to express my gratitude since embarking on this fulfilling career path. Obviously, it starts with a huge THANKS to Gino Wickman and Don Tinney for creating, testing and bring this brilliant operating system to the world! And then there are so many others (too many to list), but I'll start with my initial coaches that I was quite fortunate to work with...Ken Dewitt, Mike Paton and CJ Dube; Ben Goetz who served as a close mentor and friend; my bootcamp and the amazing EOS community that I've been privileged to be among and share the journey; and the entire EOSWW team lead by the very talented Kelly Knight and Mark O'Donnell. Thanks to all the entrepreneurs and leadership teams whom I have been privileged to work. Special thanks to those early clients and connectors that believed in me: John Scott, Bill Maddox, William Church, James Maynard, Tim Flanagan, John Davenport, Ben Fields, Jamie Ager, Mike Turner, Adam Landrum, Traci Newkirk, Dr. Brian Kean to mention a few.
