About us

EPA's Green Power Partnership encourages organizations to use electricity from renewable resources to reduce the environmental impacts of its electricity use. The Partnership currently has more than 700 partner organizations leading the way to a clean energy future by voluntarily using billions of kilowatt-hours of green power annually. Partners include many leading organizations such as Fortune 500® companies, small and medium-sized businesses, local, state, and federal governments, and colleges and universities. The Green Power Partnership is here to: -Offer expert advice on types of green power products; -Provide tools to help organizations make the best green power choice for them; -Deliver resources to help Partners communicate their environmental impact through green power use; and -Advise organizations about nationally accepted standards for green power in terms of purchase size, content, resource base, and publicity and recognition opportunities.
