Part of building and maintaining #morale at work is including #laughter. Thank you #GCPME booster club for organizing and MCing our holiday party and for so many being good sports. One of the humorous moments was watching three of our colleagues wear inflatable costumes (which their teammates donated money to booster club to bring it to fruition). #GCPME received a short notice request to support Squadron Officer School by providing a 90 minute block on the Joint Planning Process. Mr. Chris "Preacher" Marcell and Mr. Gaylon McAlpine, Assistant Professors in JAWS, conducted this session on 20 Nov. This helps #SOS meet the HAF OPORD requirement and helps students understand the JPP/JPP-A. From all accounts it went well. Our final two Agile Learning pilots wrapped up 31 October 2024, and as we reflect on the past 10 months, we are incredibly grateful for the 11,000+ hours of hard work and dedication that created an additional option for a meaningful learning experience for our students. Students at Barksdale, Maxwell, Scott, and JBSA-Randolph were not just engaged; they were eager to learn, highlighting the effectiveness of this innovative approach to non-resident military education. While the TDYs have paused for now, we’re excited to enter the next phase of Agile Learning. Our team is diving into the data collected to explore possible ways to expand this transformative experience for even more students. Thank you to everyone involved in this monumental effort by #GCPME! Global College of Professional Military Education (GCPME) Air University Air Education and Training Command United States Air Force

Over the past two weeks, myself and five other instructors from my office travelled to Scott AFB to teach Joint Planning to thirty majors, major-selects, and their civilian counterparts. These students are part of a pilot program to determine if the distance learning version of USAF Air Command and Staff College could benefit from in-person learning opportunities. This was my first time formally teaching any course, and I was proud to help these individuals make it through all seven steps of the Joint Planning Process: beginning with Planning Initiation and then walking them all the way through developing operational orders for their military courses of action. I've learned a lot from them, and I hope they learned something from us as well. #JointPlanning #OperationalDesign

#GCPME wants to recognize the accomplishments of one of our graduates: Lt Col Benjamin “Buzz” Hagardt who made waves by publishing his online #master's program (#OLMP) research project titled “Artificial Intelligence and Agile Combat Employment” in The Military Review. In the article, Lt Col Hagardt explores #AI’s role in supporting the agile combat employment (#ACE) concept and the ways in which this technology could contribute to future wars. The article explores AI’s potential to enhance operational agility, logistics, and decision-making through predictive #analytics, #machinelearning, and #automation. His work contributes valuable insights that will inspire future studies and discussions as well as influencing policy at the highest levels. Congratulations once again, Lt Col Hagart! We can’t wait to see what you accomplish next! https://lnkd.in/ehjqWqk4 Global College of Professional Military Education (GCPME) Air University Air Education and Training Command United States Air Force United States Space Force Benjamin Hagardt
