We are thrilled to announce Christian Brothers University as our Higher Education Partner! 🎓 Are you a YPC member and have been considering pursuing your MBA or earning a leadership development certification? ✅ Be sure to reach out to Lydia Rosencrants and Bevalee Vitali to learn more about exclusive opportunities! #GREATER things are on the horizon for #YPCMemphis!
Drum roll, please . . . Last night, Bevalee Vitali and I announced the amazing, super exciting, life changing news that the Christian Brothers University MBA program and Institute for Leadership Development are the new higher education partners of the Greater Memphis Chamber Young Professionals Council!!!!!! We could not be more excited (in case you can't tell) to help develop the business acumen and leadership abilities of Memphis' young talent. In case you haven't heard of the YPC, it is made up of almost 700 (!) rising stars across Memphis' business, nonprofit, and governmental sectors and is part of the Greater Memphis Chamber and Greater Memphis Chamber Chairman's Circle. Proof positive of the impact of a CBU MBA, two of the YPC leaders are two of our own. Jeremy Calhoun and Meredith Taylor, MBA, I can't wait to work with you both on this initiative! Even more exciting, the financial sponsor is First South Financial FCU, represented by another CBU alum Teresa Griffith, CCUFC. Totally a CBU takeover! Before that Christmas party, Bev and I visited with yet another phenomenal CBU MBA, Rory Thomas at the Memphis Medical District Collaborative event. And of course we ran into WILD Executive Book Club member Keesa Rayford Mitchell. A terrific night to be a CBU Buc for sure!

Greater Memphis Chamber Young Professionals Council reposted this
Yesterday's Greater Memphis Chamber Young Professionals Council luncheon on Defining Your Narrative was packed with insights that hit home. Didn’t get a picture, but it was well worth attending! Some key reminders I took with me: 🔹 Show up as your authentic self and set goals you won’t hesitate to pursue. 🔹 People gravitate to you (or away) because of your energy—so own it! 🔹 Know your worth, ask for what you deserve, and commit to your growth. 🔹 Focus on the supporters, even if they’re outnumbered by critics. 🔹 Keep building your skills and trust in what you bring to the table. 🔹 Don’t be afraid to walk away when something no longer serves you. Grateful for these reminders to keep pushing forward, learning, and showing up as the best version of myself. Hope some of these reminders resonate with you too. Thanks to the panelists & Greater Memphis Chamber for an inspiring event!
