The 70+ finalists for the 17th annual SXSW Pitch competition have been announced and New Mexico's own Angelica Maestas will be moderating the all-new "HealthTech, MedTech, BioTech & Accessibility" category on Saturday, March 8th. SXSW Pitch is the premier platform for startups from around the world to showcase their innovative technology and join the ranks of alumni greats like Klout, ICON, Siri, Foodspotting, and Tango. Since 2009, competition finalists have raised over $23.2 billion in funding. This exciting event gives early-stage startups a chance to pitch their cutting-edge tech across nine categories to a panel of judges, high-profile media, and top investors. October 29-30th Santa Ana Start Casino Hotel, Bernalillo This year the New Mexico Medicaid Reimbursement model was approved by the Centers for Medicaid Services. This model allows CHWs and CHRs to bill Medicaid for their services. This allows communities in the state increased access to these healthcare providers for services like health education, health navigation and clinical support. 👏 Let's go, NM!!!!!!!!!!! 👏

She develops both community-based and facility based behavioral health initiatives to address the needs of diverse populations. Dr. Singh is a licensed mental health provider in New Mexico, Nevada, and California, where she oversees outpatient behavioral health and substance abuse services. Dr. Singh designs and manages behavioral health programs that provide holistic and evidence based approaches on mental health and substance use treatment. Her expertise extends to business development and management, leading efforts to expand and sustain outpatient behavioral health services across multiple states. She holds a doctorate in Mind-Body Medicine with a focus on integrative behavioral health from Saybrook University, along with a master’s degree in counseling, equipping her with a strong foundation in both clinical practice and program development.
