The ifm US team and CEO Roger V. want to say thanks, Walker Reynolds, for mentioning ifm's IIoT moneo|software. We're striving to reduce friction and make it even easier for manufacturers to harness the power of their production data. It's always encouraging to hear from those who are at the forefront of Industry 4.0! https://lnkd.in/eWShSu3H #iiot #industry4
Two days at #hannovermesse are in the books. Some thoughts are below. 1. The general consensus from our group is that the most interesting new tech we've seen thus far is from ifm -- specifically bluetooth mesh and their new IIoT platform, Moneo. Very interesting. 2. HighByte and Amazon Web Services (AWS) presented on a #unifiednamespace case study for Gousto in the UK. It was a great presentation with excellent reference architecture slides. 3. Tulip Interfaces has delivered again with expanded Co-Pilot. We filmed demo's today that are simply impressive. We will be publishing the videos when we get back so I don't want to ruin the surprise -- but if you are attending the show, you should definitely check out their booth and ask for both Co-Pilot demos. 4. Its been non-stop meetings -- so much collaboration going on. A big thank you to Litmus and Vatsal Shah for having me on the fireside chat this afternoon -- we had a huge turnout and the community stuck around for another 90 minutes to ask questions and talk shop. We will have the complete fireside chat published next week as well. 5. Tomorrow, I'm interviewing the Principal Architect for Azure Time Series -- to discuss the new offering. I will also be sitting on a panel with Portainer.io to discuss all things containerization, and having a discussion with the team at EMQX. 6. Last but not least -- a big shout out to HiveMQ, United Manufacturing Hub (UMH) for walking me through their offerings and for giving us a peak under the hood on the new features. I'll have a complete rundown of them all next week. The highlight of that presentation was the Sparkplug parser they demo'd for us. A big thank you to all of the community members I have run into so far this week. The community really turned out to represent -- and its been awesome. It has been humbling to see just how big this community has grown and just how far our reach has spread. UNS is everywhere at H-M. One of the big highlights was seeing UNS at Google Cloud (we have a press-release forthcoming) -- which means now all of the big three support UNS architectures in one way or another. I'll have a lot more to say about Google and what they are doing in Industry 4 very soon. Y'all have made a huge impact on our industry -- and all for good. It is humbling and an honor to be apart of it. Thank you to all. #iiot #unifiednamespace #industry4
