Meet Our Third Speaker: Nikos Psimmenos! The last speaker that we introduce, Nikos Psimmenos is an Environmental Consultant at Green Fund (MEEN), who will be sharing his expertise at Verde.tec International Exhibition 2025. 🔹 About our speaker Nikos Psimmenos from the Green Fund (MEEN), is an environmental consultant with experience in climate change, sustainable development, and environmental management. Currently a Climate Change Expert at the Greek Life Task Force Plus + Capacity Building Project, he provides expertise to strengthen the National Contact Point for the LIFE Programme and enhance proposal submissions and implementation. His background includes roles also at the National Observatory of Athens, and various private companies and NGOs, where he led initiatives in waste management, energy audits, and environmental impact assessments. He is a working member of the International Sustainability Commission in FIM (International Federation of Motorcycling). 📣 InEExS releases its new roadmaps!  The project’s latest report aims to break down the barriers that exist for the advanced deployment of smart energy services in Europe ⚡ !     💡Smart services and technologies have an increasingly important role to play in the energy sector, but how to increase the uptake of innovative smart energy services?  Breaking down barriers 🚧 The roadmap for overcoming barriers in regulation, finance, and market design, supports stakeholders across sectors to realise the benefits of smart services and technologies, and advance the energy transition. It provides proactive solutions to overcome barriers hindering the successful integration of energy services and technologies.     Getting priorities straight  ✅  The second roadmap identifies various smart services and technologies crucial to supporting energy efficiency goals. 🎄 Happy Holidays from the InEExS LIFE Team! ✨ As we approach the holiday season, we want to express our sincere gratitude for your continued support of the InEExS project. We're taking a brief pause to celebrate with loved ones, but we're thrilled to reflect on the progress we've made in 2024: 🖥️ We successfully expanded the #SmartEnergyCluster and unveiled its brand new website, providing a valuable resource for the community. 🎤 We actively participated in Enlit Europe, showcasing our project through a dedicated stand and organizing a collaborative event with six other EU projects. ⚡ We've made significant strides in our pilot projects and have initiated replication activities to further scale our impact. 📖 We hosted two informative webinars and launched a series of capacity-building videos to empower stakeholders with valuable insights. 🤝 We've actively engaged with the community through participation in numerous events, fostering collaboration and raising awareness about our results ✨ We look forward to building upon these achievements in 2025 and delivering even more impactful results.
