Jaron Stanley stepped up as chair for the Industrial Wastewater session, focusing on treatment optimization and the latest challenges in the field. David Stanek flew in from Houston to share valuable insights on restoring performance for RO membranes. Craig Mills contributed his expertise on sustainable water reuse for refinery upgrades. I'm grateful and honored to have received the Best Overall 2023 Paper at this year's International Water Conference® in Las Vegas, Nevada held this week. I'd like to also congratulate my co-authors Marta Vanturova, P.Eng. and Craig Bartels.
