🚨FALLEN HERO🚨 Police Officer Cooper Dawson tragically lost his life after being shot while pursuing a suspect who fled from a traffic stop. The suspect, who had multiple felony warrants, ambushed Officer Dawson with gunfire during the chase. Officer Dawson was rushed to the hospital in critical condition but sadly passed away the following morning. He was a proud United States Army National Guard veteran and had been with the Greenville Police Department for over a year, following seven years of dedicated service with the Garland Police Department. He leaves behind his wife and three children. Rest in peace, hero.

🚨FALLEN HERO🚨 Deputy Sheriff Dan Diaz has passed away from injuries sustained in a tragic incident on November 21, 2024, when he, Corporal Luis Paez, and Deputy Sheriff Waller were struck by a vehicle. The three officers were waiting for assistance with a disabled motorcycle following a traffic stop when a driver, attempting to pass a slower vehicle, lost control and hit them. The collision was witnessed by another responding officer. Deputy Diaz succumbed to his injuries four days after the heartbreaking loss of his two colleagues. He proudly served with the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office for over 20 years. Rest in peace, hero.

🚨FALLEN HERO🚨 Deputy Constable Katherine Hutson and her young daughter tragically lost their lives when a drunk driver struck her patrol vehicle. She had been parked on the shoulder, providing traffic control for a construction convoy. Her daughter was with her at the time because Deputy Hutson was a single mother. The collision also involved a Texas Department of Transportation truck, which caught fire as a result. The driver responsible has been charged with intoxication manslaughter and intoxication manslaughter of a peace officer. Deputy Hutson faithfully served the Harris County Constable's Office - Precinct 5 for 18 years in the Civil Division. She is survived by her son and her parents. Rest in peace, hero.
