The peer learning group for the second cohort of the Learning Leader Programme took place today. It felt like a really valuable use of time to discuss and apply the concepts from the first module from Tim Munden. The topics discussed were wide ranging from getting learning on the agenda with leadership teams to leveraging the apprenticeship levy to tactics for adopting a skills based approach. Great to get straight down to businesses! Module 2 is with Sarah Wilson on the role of the learning function in shaping culture.

This is a pretty cool line up of organisations who are investing in their learning leaders by putting them on the Learning Leader Programme, brought to you by the Talent and Leadership Club, Future Talent Learning and The LPI (Learning and Performance Institute). There is still room for a few more people to join this second cohort of the programme that kicks off on the 17th April with Tim Munden talking about the relationship between the CLO and the board. Other contributors include Egle Vinauskaite, Nick Shackleton-Jones, and Shannon Tipton. As a participant you’ll get LPI and T&L Club membership, cutting edge contributions from leaders in their field as well as the chance to apply the content in discussion groups. All at a price point that is designed to make it accessible to as many people as possible.

We had the follow up discussion group today for the Learning Leader Programme module on ‘Marketing Learning’, delivered by the brilliant Shannon Tipton. The first part of the module last week was described as ‘not only useful, but really good fun’ - looks like you hit the sweet spot Shannon! Two modules to go on the future of work and innovation. Thank you to all the participants, The LPI (Learning and Performance Institute) and Future Talent Learning for making the programme the success it has been. Cohort 2 kicks off in April, still a few more places available. #learning #CLO #learningleaders #cobblerschildren

Well this was fun - superb session from Gina Jeneroux, MBA FLPI yesterday for Module 8 of the Learning Leader Programme, focusing on 'Cracking The Skills Code'. This slide was a favourite. The best quote that came from the session was, "learning in the flow of life". Thanks Gina!
