🦃 Last week Rachael Mahoney, Senior Vice President for the Neuroscience Institute, along with many other leaders, joined in the spirit of the season for Lehigh Valley Health Network's 14th annual turkey toss! Network colleagues lined up to redeem their LVHN provided certificates for a turkey or cheesecake, loaded directly into their cars by smiling members of our leadership teams. Brian Shaner, Director of Human Resources, took this year’s turkey toss to the next level donning an inflatable turkey costume to mark the occasion! Thank you to Jaindl Turkey Farms, Pocono Cheesecake Factory, and the Kellyn Foundation Mobile Market for supplying this years' food items. Recently, Dr. Walter Jean, Chief of Neurosurgery, represented Lehigh Valley Health Network at the 17th Asian Australasian Congress of Neurological Surgeons (#AACNS) in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. This biennial event brings together world-renowned neuroscientists and global experts in #neuorsurgery to share their experience, knowledge and expertise. Dr. Jean served as both an expert panelist and presented on a variety of topics during this multi-day conference.
