💡 Hydrogen is the future—but how do we transport it safely? 🧐 🎯 This is the challenge Task 4.1 in the LH2CRAFT project is tackling—and we are making strides. Led by HYDRUS, our focus is on creating the next generation of ships designed to safely carry #liquid #hydrogen (#LH2). 💧 🚢 🛡️ 🌊 Here’s what we’ve achieved so far: 1️⃣ Finalized the ship's principal dimensions and key design principles. 2️⃣ Defined the operating requirements needed for seamless transport. 3️⃣ Gained critical insights through a HAZID workshop held in Trieste, June 2024. 🚢 What’s next? 🛠️ We are now optimizing hull designs, assessing loading conditions, and fine-tuning propulsion power requirements.
