Last month, the U.S. Department of Education invited statistician Ebony Walton to share how the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) has used NAEP data to develop a composite measure of student socioeconomic status. Look for findings based on the new index when we report the 2024 results early next year. #EdData #EdEquity
