Two Del Rio Trail events are happening this weekend! Register for both here: https://lnkd.in/gcr6vb67 Artist Talk and Reception Friday, Nov. 8, 2024, from 5 - 8:30p.m. Latino Center of Arts and Culture 2700 Front Street, Sacramento, CA 95818 Seven world-class artists from around the country were engaged to create 18 monumental artworks that now grace the 4.8-mile Del Rio Trail. These artists will be on site to talk about their design inspiration and artistic process, giving their presentations at the Latino Center of Art and Culture on Friday evening. The Latino Center is where we kicked off this journey many months ago with our community outreach phase in 2022. Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024, from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Along the Del Rio Trail Riverside Blvd. to Meadowview Rd. The artists will be posted up along the trail for a “meet and greet.” This is a unique opportunity to visit with the artists at their installation sites and learn more about the site-specific details in their work. The artists have come from around the country to contribute to Sacramento’s growing collection of world-class artworks. This is a special, once-in -a-lifetime moment you will want to be part of.

The $950,000 Cultural Arts Awards Program, administered by the City of Sacramento’s Office of Arts and Culture, in partnership with Sacramento County's Office of Economic Development, is now accepting applications for the 2025-2027 grant cycle.
