What is a low-cost alternative to line extensions on single-phase low-voltage grids that can help accommodate the increasing adoption of solar energy? The ECOTAP® VPD® I. Single-phase low-voltage grids are particularly widespread in the USA and Australia. The advantages of such grids are that they are easy to install, and the investment costs are comparatively low. However, absorption capacities are quickly reached when more and more households install solar systems on their roofs. ⚡ The low-cost alternative to line extensions is our ECOTAP® VPD® I, which also makes single-phase transformers controllable.
