While the technology brings much-needed innovation to finance, critical views from the crypto space are emerging. Sherwood News dives into the tokenization debate in an article shared by Crystal Kim. On the one hand, tokenization allows anyone the ability to access their money exactly when they want it. Just as ETFs are thought of as the 2.0 version of mutual funds, with their transparency and ability to trade intraday, tokens, which are compatible DeFi platforms, are emerging as a new 3.0 product. Even so, some voices question the real impact.
