The 2024 Plumbing National Championship finals airs on CBS Sports Network a week from today! Get to know the pros competing for the title of best plumber: ⭐ Mike Seidel has been a plumber at fourth-generation plumbing company Charles D. Riley Inc. in Altoona, Pennsylvania, for 25 years. He currently handles estimating and project management, but occasionally gets back to hands-on work. ⭐ Tyler Edelman, 27, has spent a lot of time being the youngest person in the room, which has helped shape who he is today. He's worn multiple hats at his uncle’s business, Edelman Heating, Cooling, Plumbing Electric & Solar, from residential plumbing work to estimating and accounting. ⭐ Tim Quick has 34 years of plumbing experience and currently works at Air Systems Inc. in Delavan, Wisconsin, developing a plumbing division at the heating contractor. ⭐ Dave Shanor, a 2023 PNC finalist, started his plumbing career directly after high school and has over 25 years of experience today. ⭐ Craig Childress, reigning plumbing and HVAC champ, is also back in the competition this year. The Boston University plumber has over 20 years of experience under his belt and will compete in both the HVAC and plumbing finals again, positioning him to potentially become the first back-to-back crossover champion. This Thanksgiving, we're grateful for the future of the #skilledtrades. We got a firsthand look at that future when we hosted a local high school at our Atlanta headquarters last week to engage students enrolled in an intro to #construction program. We were able to share more about the #plumbing trade, showcase various career paths, and give them some hands-on experience with different plumbing methods. #cte
