USC School of Cinematic Arts is where many filmmakers develop their craft before going on to make iconic films. It’s the school where George Lucas, Doug Liman, Shonda Rhimes, and many others graduated from before making their mark in the entertainment industry. It has been three years since we launched our partnership with this legendary film school, giving the next generation of filmmakers hands on experience with Sony’s cinema cameras and virtual production tools (such as the Crystal LED wall). Our partnership also included the opportunity for the students to interact directly with Sony’s engineers, sharing their feedback and ideas while our team was building the roadmap for the Cinema Line of the future.
