About us
The mission of the SRBT is to advance the knowledge of SRBT members, scientists, clinical laboratory specialists and other medical professionals. The committee promotes high standards of scientific investigation in the pursuit of discovery in the field of Reproductive Biology, and the application of this information to Assisted Reproductive Technologies.
Active membership is available to ASRM members who have a special interest in reproductive biology, applied assisted reproductive technologies and the reproductive laboratory as demonstrated through education, research or employment.
SRBT and ARSM help reproductive lab professionals expand their knowledge, grow and maintain professional networks, and obtain current information on state-specific regulations for certifications through peer-led, literature-supported education as well as networking opportunities. Involvement with ASRM and SRBT provides the foundation of support and structure within the field of reproductive laboratory medicine, thereby increasing longevity and career satisfaction.
For clinics, a knowledgeable, educated, and motivated staff is an integral part of an efficient, highly successful laboratory and ultimately staff retention and satisfaction, quality patient care and improved outcomes.
