Rounding out our Week of Gratitude, we are highlighting an incredible Aggie engineering alumnus, 2019 Distinguished Engineering Alumni Medalist, member of our Chemical Engineering Advisory Board and esteemed donor, Robert Kiss '84, Chemical Engineering. Kiss is a wonderful example of what it means to be an Aggie Engineer, as he’s spent his career mentoring other chemical engineers, building life-long connections and making an impact wherever he goes. “I am proud to have been a key contributor in starting up the Chemical Engineering Excellence Endowment [at UC Davis] a few years ago through a collaboration between the classes of '82, '84, and '85,” he said. “This endowment helps to ensure that funds will always be available to support ChE student activities.” Thinking back on his contributions to the College of Engineering, he hopes other Aggie alumni consider supporting their home department to create “outstanding student experiences,” especially through the Chemical Engineering Excellence Endowment. “The world is not short of challenges that can be tackled by smart chemical engineers! There are many ways to help out.” Contribute to the Endowment: https://lnkd.in/gcfuKet5 #UCDavisEngineering Image description: Bob Kiss stands outdoors, next to a cliffside near the ocean
