2 well attended sessions this week in Bristol and London talking to suppliers about the new Procurement Act 2023 and what to expect at go-live and thereafter. Many Thanks to the Private Utility Contracting Authorities who came along to support myself and the Cabinet Office on the day. On to Darlington next week to complete this cycle of briefings.
We had a great event on Tuesday with a number of the UVDB steering group Buyers and Suppliers. Peel Ports Group and UK Power Networks outlined their approach to the changes and gave suppliers the opportunity to ask any questions. We ended with a panel discussion from Katie Ferrier our regional director, Pam Brown the UVDB chair and Cabinet Office SPOC as well as Nick Pimlott a leading figure in competition law and procurement law. A fantastic and productive event for all involved!
