The new Senior & Community Center in Redmond is designed to meet the needs of a diverse community. It will feature spaces for seniors, including a lounge, library, and fitness facilities. There will also be a large multipurpose room, classrooms, and a kids' zone. The building will be LEED certified and incorporate sustainable features like solar panels. The exterior design will blend in with the surrounding environment and include outdoor spaces for gardening and recreation. Google chose #masstimber for its new office space in California because it is a #sustainable #buildingmaterial that is good for the environment and employees. The building is designed to be energy-efficient and reduce its carbon footprint. Additionally, they chose mass timber to create a more pleasant and productive work environment for their employees. The exposed timber, natural light, and fresh air can help to boost employee morale and productivity. The new Idaho Outdoor Fieldhouse in Boise, ID, is designed to support military families and adaptive athletes. The 46,000-square-foot campus features glulam and CLT to create a nature-inspired and light-filled environment.
