Liverpool Women midfielder Missy Bo Kearns assisted the final goal in the 3-1 win over Manchester United on Wednesday
Missy Bo Kearns is aiming to spend her entire career at Liverpool after coming through the ranks with Curtis Jones and Bobby Duncan.
Scouse teenager Kearns, 19, played alongside Jones and Derby County striker Duncan for local boys team Mossley Hill before joining Liverpool at 11.
She has since spent time on-loan at Blackburn Rovers and represented England at under-19 level, signing her first professional contract in January.
Kearns came from the bench to assist the final goal in the 3-1 Continental Cup victory over Manchester United on Wednesday to prompt manager Vicky Jepson into labelling her the 'Scouser in our team'.
Jones has enjoyed his own senior breakthrough under Jurgen Klopp over the last 12 months and Kearns is pleased by their synchronised progress.
"For me and Curtis now to be doing well in the first-team, it's a big achievement for us both," she said.
"We've knew each other for years and are at the same stage in our careers so it's nice to see him doing well and for me to be doing well."
