Dr K Hopcroft and Dr A Pereira of Laindon Medical Group have produced a chart on dealing with unwell patients who are not in need of admission to hospital. This can be used for practices triaging to a Covid-19 hub with patients NHS 111 has sent to them, or for a hub triaging patients that a practice or NHS 111 has sent to them.
This would need to be used in conjunction with NICE sepsis charts as advised.
This is an aid which does not replace clinical judgement or gut feeling. Please note, this was amended on 6 April to remove reference to the Roth Score.
