Today, Leica has announced an upcoming price increase going into effect July 1, 2024. Impacting a wide range of products, the increases are not uniform across the board. The amount will vary on a per-product basis – $300 for analog M cameras, M11 Monochrom and Q3, and around $100-200 for most M lenses and some SL glass. SL3, SL2-S, M11-P and many SL lenses remain unchanged.
Like many premium manufacturers, Leica has a history of small, incremental price adjustments to keep pace with inflation, currency fluctuation, and the ever rising cost to produce hand-crafted, high-precision cameras and lenses. And despite recent widespread global inflation, especially on materials, we actually haven't seen a price increase from Leica in over two years.
The good news is that Leica is giving everyone a couple weeks notice here. If you are interested in purchasing at the current pricing, you can do so while supplies last. At Leica Store Miami, pre-increase pricing will be honored on any in-stock item up until June 30, 2024. Below is a breakdown of affected serialized products and their corresponding price increases.
