Marvelously orchestrated by director Robert Eggers, Nosferatu is a behemoth of a horror film that is equal parts repulsive and seductive.

A.A. Dowd Digital Trends Only when he flirts, like Coppola, with a kinkier kind of lunacy does Eggers threaten to really put his mark on what Murnau subtitled the symphony of horror. Rated: 3.5/5 Dec 25, 2024 Full Review Sara Michelle Fetters MovieFreak.com Nosferatu left me feeling empty. It kept me at a frustrating distance, and even its tragic denouement of selfless sacrifice hit me as more perfunctory and preordained than authentically intimate. Rated: 2/4 Dec 25, 2024 Full Review Bill Goodykoontz Arizona Republic Even at its most disgusting, and it does get disgusting, the film is engrossing. It’s not that you can’t look away. It’s that you want to look and look again. Rated: 4.5/5 Dec 24, 2024 Full Review Stephanie Malone Morbidly Beautiful Exquisite craftsmanship elevates this haunting gothic tale; "Nosferatu" is a spellbinding achievement that demands you succumb to its charms. Eggers has crafted not just a worthy adaptation of a classic but also a new classic in its own right. Rated: 5/5 Dec 25, 2024 Full Review Todd Jorgenson Cinemalogue Deliberately paced but consistently unsettling, it sidesteps jump scares and supernatural tropes in favor of slow-burning dread, although there are considerable moments of visceral terror. Dec 25, 2024 Full Review Jeffrey M. Anderson Common Sense Media Wintry, unsettling, and deeply menacing, Robert Eggers' remake is a worthy companion to the 1922 original; it's a horror movie that doesn't so much scare you as chill you to your core. Rated: 4/5 Dec 25, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

Benjamin This was probably the worst movie I’ve paid money to see. I had hope for Nosferatu, it was my most anticipated film of the year as Bram Stoker’s Dracula is my favorite novel. This movie, however, devolved into a boring horndog fest with out of place cheesy lines and bad acting. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 12/26/24 Full Review Felipe M It was really boring!!!! Rated 1 out of 5 stars 12/26/24 Full Review Alicia honestly the movie was overall boring and definitely not worth watching for 2 hours. the story just was not interesting and wasn't played out very well. the random bits of moaning randomly was kind of weird. the vampires voice was hard to understand when speaking in english and there was no subtitles for the english parts so it was hard to follow. 0/10 would not recommend. honestly worst movie i've ever seen Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 12/26/24 Full Review Scott S One of the most beautiful horror films I've ever seen... Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/26/24 Full Review Jay S Undoubtedly an instant classic of the horror genre. Robert Eggers cleaves closer to folklore than his predecessors and churns out a film that is at every turn iconic and unsettling, even as it is all too familiar. The performances all feel sincere and dripping with dread and the music heightens the mood of every scene. The visuals will take your breath away. This is cinema at its finest. Bill Skarsgard is unrecognizable and unforgettable in this role. Wow. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/26/24 Full Review daniel c Might be my favorite telling of this story Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 12/26/24 Full Review Read all reviews
