From the creators of "Damages," "Bloodline" is a dramatic thriller that explores the demons lurking beneath the surface of a contemporary American family. The Rayburns are hard-working pillars of their Florida Keys community, but their past contains dark secrets that they hope remain buried. Paranoia and mistrust build as lies pile up, alliances are shattered, and an unthinkable crime takes place. The tight-knit family's formerly harmonious relationship deteriorates, and good people are forced to consider doing very bad things.

Brad Newsome Sydney Morning Herald Tense family drama. Mar 29, 2018 Full Review Brian Tallerico New York Magazine/Vulture Well, that's that. The second season of Bloodline is officially a disappointment. Despite strong performances throughout, this year's story never felt as confident as the first. Rated: 3/5 Jun 7, 2016 Full Review Samantha Highfill Entertainment Weekly The show's darker tone gives its powerhouse cast more to play with. The Rayburns are no longer just a family with a difficult brother, or good people who did a bad thing. Maybe they're much, much worse. Rated: B+ Jun 1, 2016 Full Review Sam Donsky The Ringer Bloodline's second season looks slicker, tighter, leaner, and just more confident than its debut. Aug 14, 2017 Full Review Jonathan Stevenson Brooklyn Magazine Chandler's charisma comes into full flourish in Bloodline. Dec 9, 2016 Full Review Julia Felsenthal Vogue The acting is still top-notch, but the material is not. Sep 21, 2016 Full Review Read all reviews

georgan g Season 2 of this series gets muddled in ways hard to believe. While I stayed interested it was starting to grate on my nerves. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Some work needs to be done to give more breadth to John's character. Actually, his and that of his wife. Not every action has to be John freezing and becoming bug-eyed and not every conversation has to be one person yelling and the other stuffing his feelings, freezing, then erupting. But other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed the train ride down the tunnel to the rotten centre. Is there a single character who will not repel and confuse our moral sense on this show? Not sure I buy the logic of the Danny figure at end, who seems to suggest that what happened was all part of John's plan. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Season 2 was deeper and more complex. We enjoyed the intriguing plot twists. The acting was excellent. There are so many villains in this, it's hard to know who to root for. You feel sorry one minute and the next you want someone to punch the same person in the face. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review justin b Not sure why the critics panned it. If you loved Season 1, which I did, you'll likely love Season 2. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Losing one star for flat action. Lots of buildup, delivery is not quite there. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Fantastic, but leaves you cringing because the plot just gets darker and darker, but continued excellent acting.
