Graeme Blundell The Australian [Michael Lennox’s] direction, like the performances, compelling and authentic, is not only visceral but enlivened by startling moments of character comedy. Jan 3, 2025 Full Review Lili Loofbourow Washington Post Switching between genres and timelines, “Say Nothing” lays out an immensely complicated and painful story about resistance, betrayal, loss, guilt, fury and regret. Nov 27, 2024 Full Review Nicholas Quah New York Magazine/Vulture As a portrait of young revolutionaries, Say Nothing crackles with the thrill and romance of committing one’s life to an armed cause. Nov 22, 2024 Full Review Diane Carson KDHX (St. Louis) [An] admirable endeavor, providing an insightful, sensitive and yet profoundly critical perspective on the IRA and other such groups involving unquestioned allegiance to brutal, cultish movements. Dec 24, 2024 Full Review Alberto Carlos Espinof ... Although far from perfect, 'Say Nothing' is an exciting crime thriller. Anna M Felt the need to write a review after watching this amazing series! The performances were superb - the actors were so talented, the story enthralling and the production levels brilliant. It's a hard watch at times but well worth it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/10/25 Full Review Audience Member Bold, amazingly directed and unashamed. Truly a must watch for anyone who wants an unbiased, apolitical view of the 1900s Irish struggle. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/08/25 Full Review Myles H Really great show. It was so interesting to learn about. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/07/25 Full Review Frank C An instant classic. This is Northern Ireland’s Breaking Bad. It is by light years the best television show in 2024. It is better than The People vs OJ Simpson and almost as good as Snowfall, the single greatest show since 2017. I absolutely cannot recommend it enough. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/04/25 Full Review kew p *spoilers* its a good show but the irish fellas are abit here and there killing there own people. it made me not want to trust an irish person like why are they doing it? Rated 2 out of 5 stars 12/30/24 Full Review Ash N So many used and tossed aside during a time of haunting violence. The trauma inflicted initially by the British then carried on by Irish shows no one wins. I left, couldn’t figure out why either thought it ok to continue to take lives. You both disgusted me. GA - from this it looks like you are nothing but a slimy rat, the truest, most manipulative person of them all. Phenomenal cast & production. Slán go fóill.
