Productivity
One UI 5.1’s Multi-window feature takes daily productivity to the next level. You can now open two apps at once in split screen view, as well as copy info/content/text between the apps. You can also save two apps to create an App pair, which can be opened at any time using the Edge panel.
AI Photo Editor
Your favorite pictures and GIFs can be remastered using your Galaxy device’s One UI 5.1 AI Photo Editor. You can also delete unwanted items in your pictures using the Object Eraser feature. Below, check the steps to use Remaster and Object Eraser features:
To access Remaster picture, navigate to and open Gallery, and then select the picture or GIF. Now, tap the Hamburger menu, then tap Remaster picture, or Remaster GIF, and then view the Before and After comparison. Tap Save to save the remastered version to your Gallery.
You can access Object Eraser by jumping to the native Gallery app, followed by picking up a photo. From here, tap Edit, then tap More options, and hit the Object Eraser. You just need to tp or draw around the object you need to erase, and then tap Erase.
Customization
Customization is one of the most appealing features of Samsung’s One UI 5.1. You can set your own photos or videos as wallpapers for both your Lock and Home screens, as well as create unique stickers to share with friends.
If you need to organize your Home screen apps, simply add widgets for your frequently used apps, and then stack them for easy access. This way, you’ll see exactly what you need when you navigate to the Home screen.

Security
One UI 5.1’s makes sure that Galaxy users don’t need to worry about sharing sensitive info. Thanks to Private Share, you can choose who sees your information when sending a file or photo. In addition, you can restrict recipients from forwarding your info.
Adding to this, private data that is stored on your phone can be moved to Secure Folder for safekeeping. This password-protected folder can hide apps and files, so only you have access to its contents. However, it’s not supported on all Galaxy phones.
Samsung has initiated the release of Android 14-based One UI 6.1 update for the Galaxy A14 5G smartphone. The update is rolling out in some Asian countries including India and Indonesia.
One UI 6.1 update for Samsung Galaxy A14 5G smartphone arrives with One UI build version A146PXXU7DXD3 and an installation package size of 1.6GB. The update is rolling out gradually so it may take hours or days to reach all models.
The update introduces a bundle of enhancements for the Galaxy A14 along with the April 2024 security patch. Notably, it lacks the Galaxy AI features of flagships but comes with amazing capabilities.
Users can now copy and paste objects between images, enjoy improved image clipping, and search within the Gallery app. The video editor allows for playback speed adjustments and project exports for cross-device editing. It also brings new lock screen widgets, customizable alarm alerts with AR Emoji, revamped Calendar app settings section, and more.
Overall the update enhances the Galaxy A14 5G experience with creative editing tools, personalization options, and security enhancements to make it a more versatile and secure device.

In addition to South Korea and Germany, Samsung has now launched the Android 14-based One UI 6 Beta in the US. Users of carrier-unlocked or T-Mobile branded Galaxy S23, S23 Plus, or S23 Ultra smartphones can now sign up to get the Beta firmware via OTA.
It’s worth mentioning that the One UI 6 Beta is only available for T-Mobile and carrier-unlocked Galaxy S23 models in the US. This means Verizon, AT&T, US Cellular, and other carrier users have no other option than waiting for the official rollout.
One UI 6 Beta comes with a redesigned Quick Panel, which looks stunning and well-crafted for accessibility. The animations are also tweaked but require further optimization as the current situation of transition effects is not up to the mark.
