Whatsapp bottom calling bar

WhatsApp introduces a sleek new interface for the bottom calling bar with its latest beta version 2.24.12.14 update. This update comes with a revamped bottom calling bar to enhance user experience.

The updated calling bar showcases a bigger profile picture and a simplified layout for the call bar at the bottom. This redesign follows the previous update that improved the top part of the calling screen, making buttons easier to see and use.

Through this update, WhatsApp aims to provide a more user-friendly and modern experience during calls, aligning with modern design standards.

Aside from this, WhatsApp recently brought a user-friendly tweak to the call screen with a beta update. The v2.24.7.19 beta update introduced a minimize button, replacing the back shortcut to prevent accidental call termination.

The fresh beta update is being rolled out gradually to Android users and more beta testers are getting access in the coming days.

WhatsApp Chat History transfer feature

WhatsApp is simplifying the process of transferring chat history from one phone to another through a new feature. The fresh beta (2.24.13.6) update of WhatsApp introduces a new way for a seamless transfer of conversations from an old phone to a new one, without the need for Google Drive backups.

With Beta 2.23.9.19, WhatsApp brought a QR code-based system that allows users to move their chat history directly between Android devices. The beta new update suggests the possibility of extending this feature to allow cross-platform chat history transfers, potentially including iOS devices.

Presently, WhatsApp supports chat history transfers between iOS and Android, but it’s limited to newer Android versions and requires a physical cable. The new update aims to eliminate these restrictions to offer a universal solution for all users. This new feature would be a significant improvement over the current chat transferring method.

The details of how this new universal transfer feature will work are not yet clear, as it is still under development. Through this, WhatsApp aims to provide a more user-friendly and universally applicable migration solution.

WhatsApp Chat History transfer feature

WhatsApp is releasing a new beta update with version 2.24.13.3, which brings a new feature that allows users to pin their most important channels to the top of their channel list.

The new feature is currently available to a limited number of beta testers. It makes it easier for users to keep track of their top two preferred channels.

Previously, users had to scroll through all their channels to find the ones they visited usually. The new pinning feature of WhatsApp simplifies this by letting users select up to two channels to pin at the top of their list. This feature is saving time and improving overall app navigation.

To pin a channel, users simply choose the channel and use the pin option in the app’s top bar. Once pinned, the channel will remain at the top of the list for easy access.

Moreover, the update also includes the ability to perform actions on multiple channels at once, such as muting or marking them as read. The new feature is expected to be rolled out to more beta testers soon.
