Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G getting June 2024 security update
Samsung has rolled out the June 2024 security update for the Galaxy S20 FE 5G in the US. The update focuses on enhancing the security and stability of the system to provide a better experience.
June 2024 security update for Samsung Galaxy S20 FE arrives with version G781USQSGHXF1. It is currently available for carrier-locked models and the company will expand it soon.
The update is addressing 37 high-level CVEs related to the Android operating system and 22 SVEs from Samsung. These improvements resolve various issues that users may face, including those affecting grid image display, battery statistics services, call verification, and the Samsung Dialer app.
Users can expect not only enhanced security but also an overall better Galaxy experience. For those eager to update their devices, the process is very easy.
Navigate to the Settings menu on your Galaxy S20 FE, scroll down to the Software Update section, and select Download and Install. If an OTA update is available, your device will prompt you to proceed with the installation.
Samsung may launch the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim as W25 in October in China. Tipster IceUniverse claims that the company will bring its new foldable phone with some differences in the Chinese market. Interestingly, the phone is unlikely to support an S Pen-compatible screen.
According to the info, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim (Samsung W25 in China) would be lighter and thinner than the Standard variant. The foldable phone could also bring a larger display, making it the Ultra Fold, which was in rumors bay for a long time.
The source doesn’t reveal much information about the upcoming device. However, it’s certain to be made of Titanium material, similar to the Galaxy S24 Ultra. The lack of S Pen support won’t be a bad deal as many users avoid using an external stylus on the foldable’s screen.
Galaxy Z Fold6 Slim will be named Samsung W25 in China, which is lighter, thinner and larger than Fold6.
