Samsung One UI 6.1.1 will improve Galaxy S24’s outdoor camera performance
One UI 6.1.1 is said to improve the outdoor camera experience on Galaxy S24 Ultra. Tipster IceUniverse claimed that Samsung will improve the overexposure issue of Galaxy S24 Ultra. It occurs when brighter objects like flowers shoot in sunlight.
Samsung will introduce One UI 6.1.1 on July 10 in Paris. The new software will debut with the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6. The company may start rolling out new features and enhancements to select older models in August this year.
The software is expected to optimize the camera performance in the Galaxy S24 series. Consumers will get better results if the overexposure issue is resolved. The issue results in extreme brightness in certain areas, making it oddly bright when captured.
In the auto mode, the camera automatically brightens objects when used in sunlight. The implementation of correction isn’t so accurate, resulting in a brightened image. To get the real exposure, you will be required to manually reduce the brightness.

Apart from camera improvements, One UI 6.1.1 will bring plenty of new AI features. Apple won’t be able to take benefit of its AI features in Europe due to DMA concerns. However, Samsung is all set to launch its new foldables with Galaxy AI v2 internationally.
Recently, a Samsung moderator claimed that the One UI 6.1.1 update will be equivalent to One UI 6.1. Tipster IceUniverse also claimed that it will be a major upgrade for the Galaxy S24 series. Due to this mid-cycle update, One UI 7 Beta Program may not launch early.
