Special Issue on Advances in Geomechanics
Geomechanics is a discipline that studies the laws of crustal structure and crustal
movement with the principle of mechanics. In the aspect of mineral geological
mechanics and environmental geology, engineering geology, earthquake geology,
petroleum geology and regional stability research, especially for oil, coal,
mineral exploration and geological disaster prediction, geomechanics has played
an important role. The goal of this special issue is
to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to
promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of advances
in geomechanics.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on
exploring advances in geomechanics. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Tectonic system of geomechanics
-
Geomechanical model
-
Continental dynamics
-
Geotechnical mechanics
-
Geological hazard monitoring and
prediction
-
Dynamic diagenesis and
mineralization
-
Crustal movement and crustal
stability
-
Petroleum resources assessment
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors
should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the
journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue”
under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field
“Special Issue – Advances in Geomechanics” should be chosen
during your submission.
